Jennifer Membrino

Environmental Engineer

Jenny is excited to be a part of the Brownfield Environmental Engineering Resources team!  Her professional career has included a wide variety of experiences within the government, non-profit sector, education, manufacturing and private consulting.  She began her engineering journey years ago building floating bridges in the US Army while stationed in Europe, followed by developing natural recreational areas in southern California, and then consulting on traditional civil works projects for municipal clients throughout Wisconsin.

While she took a hiatus from engineering to raise her family, she continued to purse projects that included teaching science and outdoor education, running a laser engraving company, organizing education conferences, overseeing the design and construction of a school playground, as well as building a sustainable, eco-friendly house.  When she resumed her engineering career, she knew environmental consulting was the best place to put her knowledge and experiences to use.  Recently, Jenny has also returned to school to pursue a Master of Science degree from UW-Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Science.

At Brownfield Environmental, Jenny is responsible for a spectrum of environmental engineering projects, including assessment, sampling, remediation and removal activities, environmental compliance, due diligence, and environmental permitting.  She is committed to finding cost-effective solutions for clients and serving as their resource for environmental issues.
